Preparation Method

  • Peel the mangoes and chop into small pieces.
  • Grind the mangoes with salt.
  • Par boil rice with salt and keep aside.
  • Chop the onions finely.
  • Split the red chillies.
  • Heat a broad pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, add chana dhal, curry leaves, red chilli and onion.
  • Add the ground mangoes.
  • Keep in a low flame and fry for five minutes.
  • To this add the cooked rice and fry well for five minutes.
  • Serve hot.
