Preparation Method

  • Soak raw rice and chana dhal for two hours.
  • Add water little by little and grind it.
  • Dice onion, green chillies,capsicum,curry leaves and tomatoes finely.
  • Combine dosa batter,chilli powder,salt, diced onion,green chilli,turmeric powder,tomato,curry leaves, capsicum, cumin seed,asafoetida and mix well.
  • Heat a dosa pan, when it is hot take a ladle of the batter and  spread in a circular motion to the rim of the dosa pan.
  • Drizzle Idhayam Sesame Oil to the sides of the dosa.
  • When the dosa turns brown, flip over and cook till crisp and brown.
  • Make such dosas with rest of the batter and serve hot.
