Preparation Method

  • Pressure cook the potatoes. Peel the skin and mash the potatoes.
  • Chop the onion lengthwise and finely.
  • Slit the green chillies.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper mustard, add curry leaves,chana dhal.
  • Saute onion and green chilli.
  • Add required amount of water, add cooked potatoes and turmeric powder.
  • when the masala thickens, remove from fire and keep aside.
  • Heat a dosa pan.
  • Take a ladle of the batter and spread the batter from the centre to the edge of the pan.
  • Drizzle a Idhayam Sesame Oil to the sides.
  • Take a tablespoon of the potato masala and spread it over the dosa.
  • When the dosa turn crisp and brown. Fold and serve.
