Preparation Method

  • Soak together, rice varieties, urad dhal and fenugreek for two hours.
  • Grind it along with salt and let it ferment for 6 hours.
  • Heat a dosa pan.
  • Take a ladle of the batter and spread it in a circular motion as a thick dosa.
  • Close the dosa with a lid for few minutes.
  • Drizzle Idhayam sesame oil to the sides of the dosa.
  • Simmer to a low flame.
  • Flip the dosa and allow it to cook.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
