Preparation Method

  • Mix together, gram flour, rice flour, maida, chilli powder, cooking soda, asafoetida and salt.
  • Add water little by little and mix well.
  • Mark a slightly thick batter.
  • Make a vertical slit to the chilli.
  • Heat Idhayam Sesame Oil in a deep frying pan, dip the chillies in the bajji batter and deep fry both the sides till crisp and brown.
  • Serve hot.
  • Optional: You can also use Brinjal, Potatoes,onion, plantain or cauliflower.
